Job Description
A Projects Director leads high-value construction projects from inception to handover, ensuring compliance with budget, schedule, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
Directing project execution plans, defining project scope, goals, and deliverables in alignment with senior management.
Financial & Contractual Management:
Managing project budgets, approving expenditures, negotiating contracts, and handling variation orders.
Stakeholder & Client Relations:
Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure project alignment.
Risk & Quality Management:
Implementing risk mitigation strategies, ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards, and overseeing quality control.
Team Management:
Leading and mentoring project managers, engineers, and technical staff.
Requirements
Experience:
Minimum 20-25 years of extensive experience in project management, with a proven track record of managing large-scale projects for high-rise buildings 50-60 stories.
Education:
Bachelorโs degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture; a PMP certification is preferred.
Skills:
Strong leadership, commercial acumen, negotiation abilities, and in-depth knowledge of local Dubai municipality regulations.
