Senior Consultant - BA/IM

Your Key Responsibilities As a Senior Consultant‑BA At Fabric

Mentoring (Delivery team):

Champion best practices in agile software delivery.

Capability Development (Consulting, BA, Discovery):

Internal development of BA/PM capability within Fabric.

Primary focus on the BA role.

Manage Product/Delivery engagement:

Hands‑on senior BA on engagements that require depth of experience.

Deep understanding of agile and iterative delivery of complex software products.

Demonstrable experience delivering projects iteratively in various delivery frameworks.

Coach client product owners on prioritisation, stakeholder management, etc.

Help elicit and capture requirements.

Work with delivery teams to groom the backlog in a value‑focused manner.

Consulting:

Provide trusted advice to clients in business analysis, product ownership and agile delivery management.

Take an active role on Fabric Discovery engagements (ideation/POC/Discovery).

Senior Consultant Leadership:

Lead Fabric delivery and consulting engagements.

Participate in interviewing and recruitment.

Collaborate on Fabric business strategy and execution.

Lead discovery & inception sessions.

Develop delivery plans, estimates and statements of work.

Balance client goals with customer needs, market fit and tech feasibility.

Prioritise workload to meet timeframes.

Communicate clearly and collaboratively with all stakeholders.

Become a trusted advisor to the customer.

Other:

Support QA work on projects if necessary.

The skills you would need to be a Senior Consultant‑BA:

Strong knowledge and practical experience in various agile methodologies, with the ability to tailor practices to organisational needs.

Proficient in writing clear, concise, and testable user stories with acceptance criteria, splitting, and merging; master backlog management and prioritisation techniques.

Skilled in facilitating sprint planning and effective retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.

Excellent collaboration and facilitation skills across cross‑functional teams.

Analytical thinking with system analysis skills (data mapping, XML, JSON, etc.).

Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools to enable frequent, reliable releases.

Adaptability and flexibility in changing environments.

Champion a culture of continuous improvement and iteration, encouraging feedback loops.

Contribute to overall project and initiative success.
