About this Opportunity Step into a pivotal role supporting UQ College and shaping people experience across the full employee lifecycle. As Principal Consultant, HR Client Partnering, you’ll provide expert advice, guide employment decisions, support case management, and help ensure fair, consistent and compliant outcomes for staff and leaders.

You'll work closely with UQ College and collaborate with skilled HR colleagues across the broader team, contributing to process improvements and initiatives that strengthen HR service delivery. Key Responsibilities

Provide trusted, high-quality HR advice to UQ College across employment matters, legislative frameworks, policies and procedures.

Lead and support activities across the employee lifecycle including job design, classification, case management and employment documentation.

Deliver fair, consistent and timely resolution of HR issues, including employee complaints, grievances and WorkCover processes.

Drive service excellence through continuous improvement initiatives, training delivery, knowledge resources and stakeholder engagement.

About You

Experienced in HR advisory, case management and / or operational HR with exposure to complex organisational environments.

Strong understanding of HR legislation, policies and employment frameworks, with the ability to interpret and apply them effectively.

A clear, confident and empathetic communicator who builds credibility and trust with stakeholders.

Skilled in managing sensitive matters using sound judgement, discretion and a balanced approach.

Energised by process improvement and problem solving, with a focus on practical, people‑centred outcomes.

Proactive, collaborative and growth‑minded, with a genuine motivation to support others and contribute positively to workplace culture.
