About The Role EPEC is growing fast—and so is our SCADA team! With a surge in new projects and continued success in the communications and controls space, we're excited to offer multiple opportunities for talented SCADA Engineers at all experience levels. Whether you're just starting out or bring years of expertise, we want to hear from you.

As a SCADA Engineer at EPEC, you'll be at the centre of delivering advanced Substation SCADA and Communications solutions across a range of renewable energy projects. From designing communications and control systems to developing functional descriptions, electrical schematics, termination drawings, and data/IO/loading lists—you'll play a key role in shaping the future of smart energy infrastructure.

About You Our ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with SCADA software platforms, RTUs, and HMI systems as well as a strong understanding of SCADA and communication protocols (IEC 61850, DNP3, Modbus, etc.). Your background in renewable energy projects and knowledge of cybersecurity standards relevant to industrial control systems will ensure your success in this position. You will also bring:

Bachelor Degree (Engineering) and eligible for membership of Institution of Engineers Australia.

Proficient with AutoCAD (desired Ignition).

Experienced in the development and delivery of substation SCADA control systems for complex high voltage grid connection projects.

Exposure to balance of plant SCADA systems is an advantage.

Willingness to travel to site when required (infrequent).

Collaborative mindset and a genuine passion for working in a close-knit team.
