CW GROUP is a market-leading, family-run property investment company with a 14-year track record of national success. We are looking for an experienced Head of Compliance to join our high-performance team in our beautiful Broadbeach office.
The Head of Compliance will be responsible for uplifting and implementing compliance content, ensuring Certainty Wealth Group is equipped with the knowledge, systems, and processes required to manage obligations effectively. You will act as the organisation’s compliance authority, partnering closely with senior leaders and cross‑functional teams to embed compliance into product development, operations, and governance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development, uplift, and implementation of compliance content, including obligations, risks, controls, and supporting documentation.
Design, implement, and refine core compliance and risk‑management frameworks across the organisation.
Provide quality assurance over all compliance content to ensure consistency, accuracy, and relevance.
Monitor, interpret, and assess regulatory changes, advising relevant stakeholders of impacts and required actions.
Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and controls aligned to regulatory standards.
Partner with senior leadership to ensure a strong, integrated approach to compliance and risk.
Review and approve processes and business initiatives to ensure ongoing regulatory alignment.
Conduct internal audits, compliance reviews, and risk assessments.
Lead and support investigations into compliance breaches, develop remediation plans, and oversee corrective actions.
Provide clear, timely updates to Senior leadership and board committees.
Develop and deliver compliance training.
Foster a culture of integrity, accountability, and proactive compliance.
Your experience and capabilities
Proven experience in compliance management within Banking, Superannuation or Financial Services.
Strong understanding of AFSL requirements.
Strong understanding of AML regulations – current and emerging.
Demonstrated capability in risk and compliance facilitation.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to distil complex information into actionable insights.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to influence senior leaders and board members.
Ability to operate effectively at strategic, tactical, and operational levels in a fast‑moving, lightly structured environment.
High ethical standards, sound judgement, and uncompromising attention to detail.
Qualifications
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Law, Business, Risk, or similar.
