Site Reliability Engineer

We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer for across New Zealand. This is a permanent role for a global IT service provider.

Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure (GKE/ AWS), and direct experience with at least one of the major cloud providers and managing Kubernetes clusters

Securing and Maintaining Red Hat Enterprise Linux based servers

Maintaining systems using "Configuration as Code"

Git and automation tools, like Ansible, Terraform, Packer or equivalents

Experience working with hybrid or public cloud environments

Exposure in rolling out technical information security requirements such as DevSecOps, ISO27001, CSA, or OWASP

Strong experience in Infrastructure as Code

Hands‑on experience in designing metrics and alerting with observability tools

Experience with container orchestration such as Kubernetes (GKE/EKS), AWS ECS, and Docker Compose

Experience on leveraging Git‑Based (Gitlab) source control including feature branching strategies

Exposure in provisioning and supporting RDBMS, NoSQL, or Big Data
