General Manager

We are one of Western Australia's largest and most progressive waterproofing and silicone companies which serves both Commercial and Residential builders. Due to our recent and projected growth, we are seeking a General Manager who possesses experience leading projects, overseeing budgeting and scheduling, quality control, client relations, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards, while maintaining compliance with building regulations and safety protocols. The successful candidate should be skilled in team management, stakeholder engagement, and strategic decision-making to drive profitable business operations. Candidates must have a minimum of 3-4 years of General Manager or senior leadership experience. To be competitive we are seeking a General Manager with: Strategic Planning:

Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute the company's overall strategic plan. Align operational initiatives with the organisation's mission, vision, and values. Leadership and Team Management:

Proven ability to lead diverse construction and administrative teams, motivating staff to achieve project goals and foster a collaborative work environment. Minimum 4-5 years of management experience in construction or waterproofing industry is required. Project Management Expertise:

Deep understanding of project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management to ensure smooth project execution. Risk Management and Compliance:

Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and legal requirements. Develop and maintain effective risk management strategies to mitigate operational and financial risks. Expertise in budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting to optimise project profitability. Multi-project finance management experience is essential for this role. Client Relationship Management:

Strong track record of building and maintaining positive relationships with clients, understanding their needs and exceeding expectations. Compliance and Safety:

Commitment to upholding safety standards and adherence to all relevant building codes and regulations. Technical Knowledge:

Comprehensive knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and industry best practices. Advanced expertise in construction and waterproofing technical knowledge is required.
