Join the Allied Health Team as a Dentist, delivering high-quality, patient-centred oral healthcare that meets the unique needs of individuals in custody and supports their overall wellness.
This is a casual role, Monday to Friday, 2 days per week (flexible days).
In this role, you will:
Provide general dental care across a range of clinical presentations, including complex cases
Manage referrals, coordinate ongoing care, and oversee high-risk or challenging patients
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated, patient-centred care
Communicate effectively with health staff, custodial teams, and external providers
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration
Degree in Dentistry (undergraduate: Bachelor of Dental Science/Surgery/Oral Health or postgraduate pathway: Doctor of Dental Medicine) obtained from an accredited Australian educational program or international program approved by Dental Board of Australia
Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Cultural awareness and the ability to work with diverse populations
Desirable: Experience in high-risk or secure environments requiring adaptive clinical decisions
