About the Role:
You’ll deliver finance business partnering across EPA, supporting strong financial management and informed decision‑making in a complex, organisation‑wide environment. Working closely with senior leaders, you’ll contribute to budgets, forecasting and governance that support EPA’s strategic and regulatory priorities.
In this role you will:
Provide expert financial advice, forecasting, modelling and analysis to support strategic and operational decision‑making
Partner with business areas across EPA to support budget development, business cases, project planning and evaluation
Assist in preparing high‑quality management and board reports, including variance analysis, insights and recommendations
Contribute to EPA’s internal budgeting, forecasting and State Government budget processes
Support and uplift financial management capability across the organisation through strong business partnering
Build and maintain effective relationships with senior stakeholders, role‑modeling professionalism, integrity and collaboration
Skills and Experience:
Relevant tertiary qualification in accounting, business or a related discipline
Demonstrated experience in finance business partnering roles, with senior‑level exposure
Solid knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and financial management frameworks
Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships and work collaboratively across diverse teams
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex financial information to senior stakeholders
Strong Excel skills, including financial modelling, forecasting and analysis
