The Role As Head of Ecommerce at 7‑Eleven Australia, you will lead the strategy, growth, and optimisation of the e‑commerce offer within the 7‑Eleven Digital ecosystem. The role covers both owned digital platforms and partner marketplaces such as Uber Eats and DoorDash. You will shape the vision, drive innovation, and ensure seamless integration of e‑commerce initiatives across all touchpoints, delivering a world‑class digital convenience experience for customers.

Key Responsibilities

Define and execute the e‑commerce strategy to deliver sustainable growth across owned channels and third‑party marketplaces.

Drive continuous improvement in conversion, customer journey, and operational efficiency through data‑driven insights and experimentation.

Oversee trading plans, merchandising, pricing, and promotional strategies to maximise reach and profitability.

Bring strategic, value‑driven, enterprise‑wide thinking and collaborate across functional teams to embed capabilities and tools supporting the digital vision.

Champion personalisation, loyalty integration, and frictionless ordering to enhance satisfaction and retention.

Monitor KPIs such as traffic, conversion, AOV, and ROI; provide actionable insights to inform decision‑making.

Manage significant budgets effectively, optimising spend for maximum impact.

Ensure all e‑commerce activity adheres to legal, ethical, and brand standards.

About You

Extensive experience in e‑commerce leadership within retail, FMCG, or convenience sectors.

Proven success in scaling multichannel e‑commerce platforms and marketplace partnerships.

Strong commercial and analytical mindset with expertise in CRO and omnichannel performance metrics.

Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.

Ability to lead high‑performing teams and foster a culture of innovation.

Deep understanding of customer behaviour and emerging digital trends.
