OPPORTUNITY
An opportunity exists for a
Technical Sales Manager (Sales & Service)
to take ownership of the Queensland territory, managing existing customers while driving new business growth across civil construction and earthmoving markets.
This is a hybrid role balancing
hands‑on technical installation, commissioning and troubleshooting
with
commercial account management and solution selling .
You will work autonomously in the field, supported by a national technical team, delivering both revenue outcomes and high‑quality customer support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and grow an existing portfolio of customers across Queensland
Identify and convert new business opportunities with contractors, plant owners and project teams
Install, commission and calibrate machine control and positioning systems on mobile plant
Diagnose and resolve technical issues both on‑site and remotely
Deliver product demonstrations, operator training and technical support
Develop sales strategies aligned to territory targets and project pipelines
Engage with Project Managers, Surveyors, Site Engineers, Plant Managers and business owners
Maintain accurate activity, pipeline and customer records within CRM and ERP systems
Provide post‑installation support to ensure customer satisfaction and long‑term retention
Collaborate with internal technical and service teams to deliver integrated solutions
Monitor market activity, upcoming projects and competitor movements

CANDIDATE

Ideal background includes:
Hands‑on experience with
machine control, payload systems, positioning technology or survey equipment
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to use tools for installations and servicing onsite
Demonstrated success in B2B technical sales or account management
Confidence engaging with both operators and senior project stakeholders
Self‑motivated, organised and comfortable working autonomously in the field
Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel across Queensland
