Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and strategic Engagement Manager to grow and maintain effective local networks, liaise with key stakeholders, and represent the CSQ brand in the East & South Brisbane region.
You will plan and lead regional engagement initiatives, including working with SME industry stakeholders, to ensure the successful delivery of CSQ’s programs and services. You will be responsible for reporting business outcomes to senior management and leading regional workforce planning processes to address local workforce challenges.
Day-to-day you will enjoy
Growing CSQ’s brand and customer reach through business development, supportive engagement and high levels of industry credibility
Consulting and partnering with key regional stakeholders to successfully deliver CSQ services
Engaging with stakeholders to understand industry aspirations, identify challenges and share relevant insights
Facilitating meetings, workshops and industry activities
Planning and leading regional engagement initiatives that support program delivery and organisational goals
You will bring
Tertiary qualification in a business or education related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in relationship management, business development, network building or stakeholder engagement
Demonstrated knowledge of the building and construction industry and the vocational education and training (VET) sector, or ability to rapidly acquire a working knowledge of workforce development tools and techniques
Experience in leading effective industry engagement networks and managing stakeholders of medium complexity and risk.

A confident relationship-builder who can work with a wide range of stakeholders and construction enterprises to lead and influence them to build commitment to long-term workforce development
Comfortable using digital platforms and tools to manage projects, report progress, and communicate clearly with others
Collaborative, with strong emotional and social awareness to work well across teams and industry stakeholders
A strong analytical thinker with the ability to interpret and present data trends to support informed decision-making
Skilled in research, questioning, and investigative techniques to identify regional opportunities and develop workforce strategies
A self-starter who can work independently while ensuring activities align with team objectives
Requirements
Current Driver’s Licence
Access to a reliable vehicle for travel
The role will require travel to attend stakeholder meetings and deliver activities across Queensland as well as some intrastate travel and overnight absences.
