Description WTW Australia are looking to recruit an individual to lead the ongoing management and development of our digital first, small business proposition (Zest Insurance). With the rapid migration towards the digital distribution of SME insurance products in the Australian market, we are looking for an experienced market figure to join our team to lead the management, growth and development of our newly established Zest Insurance business.

The successful candidate will work alongside our central and regional team resources to leverage the launch and established foundation of Zest to accelerate business growth and directly support the scaling of the business both vertically and horizontally to drive performance.

Our business is truly international, and the successful candidate is expected to engage colleagues and wider business stakeholders on a global basis.

The Role

Lead a dedicated team across relevant workstreams; including technology development, operations, client service, change management and our regulatory and compliance obligations as we scale.

Immediate Requirements

Lead the ongoing management and growth of an integrated digital distribution platform (Zest Insurance).

Work alongside our local Affinity and SME teams to develop client focused products for distribution through the platform, directly supporting region growth strategies.

Support the ongoing development of a multi-year digitally focused strategy for the SME segment.

Ongoing responsibilities

Oversight of, and responsibility for Zest Insurance revenue/P&L plans in line with International strategies.

Drive Pacific region revenue and operating income growth

Oversee and ensure client risks are placed effectively, for the best interest of the client and compliant with WTW policies and standards

Collaborate with colleagues across the enterprise to ensure that we develop a compelling proposition which leverages the whole of WTW

Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the delivery of service to clients, keeping the user experience at the forefront of the business, to build WTW’s position as the go-to digital distribution solution.

Be an advocate for our overall business, presenting at industry events, to clients and our colleagues, locally and internationally.

Qualifications The Requirements

Have established experience in leading insurance digital transformation programmes

Have excellent leadership skills, with a proven track record of building successful commercial businesses; of developing people; and of instilling high standards of ethical behaviour

High levels of business and financial acumen with an understanding of company strategy and change management

Demonstrate the capability for original thought, innovation and continuous improvement

Demonstrate the ability to oversee the delivery of complex and multi‑stakeholder projects

Demonstrate the ability to manage conflict and challenging relationships

Demonstrate strategic vision

Demonstrate a strong history of delivery
