About role:
As the Business Manager for our HPE portfolio, you will lead the strategy, execution, and growth of the HPE business within Ingram Micro. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership capability and solid industry knowledge. You will develop and execute plans to meet revenue and profitability targets, build strong vendor partnerships, and lead your team to achieve success. You will also leverage your commercial acumen and vendor management expertise to drive performance across AI, Private Cloud, Storage, Supercomputing, Compute, Software, HPE Networking, and Services.
Key Responsibilities
Own and manage the full HPE Business Unit, driving revenue, profitability, and YOY growth.
Build and execute business plans and promotional strategies aligned with HPE priorities.
Maintain strong, regular engagement with HPE vendor teams to ensure alignment and maximise opportunities.
Coach and mentor the internal team to uplift capability and performance across sales, product, and marketing.
Monitor monthly performance across HPE categories; identify gaps and drive actions to correct variances.
Support and steer the annual budgeting process, ensuring brand targets and KPIs are achieved.
Increase HPE visibility within the sales organisation through enablement, training, and effective sales tools.
Execute quarterly marketing plans and support HPE‑led initiatives to drive brand presence and demand.
Analyse product portfolios, identify whitespace, and drive share‑of‑wallet gains across partners.
Provide consistent performance updates and ensure compliance with HPE rebate and profitability programs.
Role Requirements
Strong experience leading a business, product, or vendor portfolio, ideally within enterprise IT or hybrid cloud.
Deep understanding of servers, storage, networking, or cloud solutions.
Proven ability to build trusted relationships with vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Ability to influence, lead change, and execute strategic initiatives.
Strong team leadership and people development capability.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Commercial mindset with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
Background in ICT sales, product management, distribution, or vendor management preferred.
