Build & Lead an AI | Data Consulting Practice. A 60-person consulting firm is appointing a senior CTO / Partner-equivalent leader to build and scale a new AI & Data practice in Melbourne. This role suits an ex–Big 4 Partner, Director, or Senior Manager who wants real ownership — not internal politics, not endless decks. The Role Build and lead an AI & Data consulting practice from day one Set enterprise architecture, delivery, and technology strategy Stay hands-on: solution design, estimation, quoting, complex client work Own P&L, BD targets, and commercial outcomes Leverage your existing enterprise network to win work Lead a senior team (initially 3 direct reports) and scale the practice Translate complex tech into clear business outcomes for executives The Profile You must have: Big 4 consulting background (Partner / Director / Senior Manager level) Previously been an Enterprise Architect, CTO, or Head of Technology Strong credibility across AI, data, cloud, and modern engineering Proven experience owning sales, P&L, and practice growth A consistent career history (no short-term hops) The ability to operate without large sales or delivery armies Why This Is Different Full autonomy to build a practice that becomes self-sufficient within 3 years Established consulting platform already in place Direct line to executive leadership Real influence, real ownership, real outcomes Please send your CV via seek and we'll get back to you ASAP...
