Lead the sourcing and supply capability for a high-growth food business backed by a major Australian retail parent. We are recruiting a Head of Sourcing on behalf of a growth-focused Online Meals business. Reporting to the Head of Online Meals, this is a senior leadership role responsible for the end-to-end sourcing and supply function outside of production operations. The environment is high complexity, with 500+ ingredient and packaging SKUs, frequent menu changes, short shelf-life inputs and increasing integration with a national online retail platform. The Head of Sourcing owns procurement strategy, supplier partnerships and COGS performance across a broad and dynamic portfolio. The remit also includes supply planning oversight, ERP and master data governance, supply analytics, and 3PL performance management. Key Responsibilities

Own end-to-end sourcing strategy across ingredients, packaging and ready-to-heat products Lead supplier negotiation, onboarding, contract management and performance reviews Own COGS performance and supplier resilience across a 500+ SKU portfolio Oversee forecasting and planning processes suited to meal kit complexity Manage inventory targets, substitution governance and waste control Own Microsoft Business Central supply configuration, MRP processes and master data governance Build supply analytics dashboards and reporting frameworks Manage 3PL relationships including DIFOT, SLA compliance and freight optimisation Partner cross-functionally with Culinary, Commercial, Operations, Technology and Finance Lead supply workstreams supporting online channel integration About You

Senior sourcing or procurement leadership experience within FMCG, retail or food Strong commercial negotiation capability with demonstrated COGS improvement outcomes Experience operating in high-SKU, demand-variable environments ERP fluency, ideally Microsoft Business Central Strong planning, forecasting and analytical capability 3PL performance management experience Comfortable operating strategically while remaining execution-oriented Experience within fresh food or meal kit categories will be highly regarded.
