IT Solutions Architect

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field (Master's degree preferred). 6+ years of experience in IT architecture or a related field, with at least 4 years in a solutions architecture role. Proven experience in leading large-scale IT projects or programs of work, with a deep understanding of enterprise-level technology. Experience in retail, healthcare, finance, e-commerce, or technology is preferred. Expertise in architecture frameworks such as TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework), Zachman, or FEAF Strong knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, GCP), microservices architecture, API management, and DevOps practices. Experienced with ERP systems, CRM platforms, Retail Point of Sales systems and data management technologies (e.g., big data, data lakes). Proficiency in security architecture principles, ensuring systems comply with cybersecurity best practices. Highly skilled in specialisation related to the position and type of assigned work Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex business needs into business capabilities and technology solutions. Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
