The Role Reporting to a highly supportive General Counsel, you will work alongside a team of several lawyers supported by a Legal Assistant and Paralegal. The team advises on a diverse range of matters, and your work may include:

Commercial contracts (supply, procurement and general advisory)

Regulatory matters

Policy development (including privacy, modern slavery and other frameworks)

Compliance reporting to internal stakeholders, including to the global parent company

Property matters

FIRB compliance

Insurance matters

Maintaining and updating a contracts register

Opportunity to support major projects led by the General Counsel

Litigation involving the organisation

Corporate M&A work

Delivering training to operational teams (including sales and marketing) on compliance topics

The Essentials

You’re an admitted lawyer with a current Queensland practising certificate

3–6+ years PAE

Either coming from in‑house with a broad skillset or in private practice in a corporate/commercial, M&A or property team

Strong analytical and communication skills

Ability to provide practical, solutions‑focused advice

A collaborative, low‑ego and commercially minded approach
