Clinical Lead Opportunity | Flexible & Hybrid Role
ND Perspective Allied Health is seeking an experienced clinician to join our growing multidisciplinary team in a role that combines clinical practice with leadership in a supportive, flexible working environment.

About Perspective
ND Perspective is a multidisciplinary allied health clinic supporting children, young people and families through Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Psychology and Behaviour Support.

About the Role
This role combines a clinical caseload with dedicated leadership responsibilities supporting the day‑to‑day functioning and wellbeing of the multidisciplinary clinical team.
This role provides the
clinical oversight that ensures therapists have sustainable, consistent and appropriate caseloads , guiding client allocation and supporting team effectiveness across the clinic. You would be supported by an administration team that manages bookings and client communication.
You will work closely with the CEO and Operations Manager as a clinical bridge between therapists, administration, and leadership. This role holds delegated clinical leadership, while the CEO brings strong business, strategy, and marketing experience.
This role will play a key part in shaping clinical systems, supporting therapists’ success, and helping define how Perspective grows into its next phase under a new owner.
The balance of clinical and leadership responsibilities will be tailored to the successful candidate, with flexible and hybrid working options available.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Practice
Maintain a reduced caseload within your discipline (OT, speech, or similar)
Deliver neurodivergent‑affirming therapy within a collaborative team
Support complex clinical situations where appropriate
Contribute to a collaborative multidisciplinary environment
Clinical Leadership
Day‑to‑day guidance and mentoring to clinicians
Onboarding of new team members and development of clinicians
Maintain clinical standards, policies, and documentation
Foster a supportive and psychologically safe team culture
Provide insights to leadership around team needs and service delivery trends
Identify opportunities to improve workflows and clinician support
Respond to clinical‑related client queries
Caseload & Capacity Leadership
Oversee clinician capacity and workload sustainability
Guide allocation of new referrals to appropriate therapists
Work closely with administration to maintain consistent, well‑balanced calendars
Support introduction of new clients into clinician caseloads
Identify waitlist pressures or underutilisation early
Help clinicians maintain caseloads that support both wellbeing and continuity of care
NDIS Practice & Governance Support
Maintain a good working knowledge of the NDIS in practice
Provide guidance on NDIS service delivery and funding requirements
Assist with documentation standards and audit readiness
Help embed sustainable, compliant clinical processes across the team
Flexibility & Working Arrangements
Part‑time or full‑time options
School‑hours friendly schedules
Hybrid working between clinic and home
A tailored mix of clinical and leadership hours
Dedicated leadership time will be protected to ensure responsibilities are sustainable
Qualifications
Senior registered Occupational Therapist, Speech Pathologist, or relevant allied health professional in Australia
Strong working knowledge of the NDIS environment, including service delivery and documentation expectations
Approximately
5+ years post‑qualification clinical experience
(or equivalent capability)
Demonstrated ability to exercise sound clinical judgement and work autonomously
Confidence managing a clinical caseload independently, including complex clients
Effective communication and organisational skills
A desire to move into a leadership/coordination role with a smaller clinical caseload
Experience as a Clinical Lead or leading a team of allied health professionals would be highly regarded
Experience working within multidisciplinary teams (not essential)
Experience supporting or mentoring other clinicians
Experience working in neurodivergent‑affirming environments would be an asset
Comfort supporting teams with diverse communication and working styles
