Asset Data Quality Lead - AGL
Join AGL's Asset Services team based in Melbourne to shape the future of Data and AI governance within our Energy Assets group. As the Asset Data Quality Lead, you will be the champion for turning industrial and enterprise data into trusted assets, designing and delivering frameworks, tools and processes that keep our data accurate, consistent and reliable.
Key Responsibilities
Manage practical frameworks, tools and standards that improve the accuracy, consistency and reliability of data.
Create clear data quality metrics and dashboards that give actionable insights.
Implement root cause fixes and sustainable solutions to data issues, preventing repeat problems.
Promote strong collaboration across business and technical teams to embed data quality and data management practices into everyday practice.
Translate strategic vision into actionable outcomes and embed data quality elements into high-impact initiatives.
Become a trusted advisor, offering expert guidance on emerging risks, compliance requirements, policies and guidelines that are integral to good data management practices.
About You
You're a collaborative data leader who helps teams embrace governance standards, and champions continuous improvement to deliver reliable, high-quality data and measurable business outcomes. Additionally, you will have most of the following:
Tertiary qualifications in Data Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent professional experience.
Demonstrated background and experience working in Data Management Practices, particularly in Data Quality.
Advanced understanding of data quality's value, user adoption strategies, and management.
Experience interpreting and analyzing data, using and managing data quality tools, dashboards, and validation processes.
Prior experience with various technology products and services such as Azure products, cloud storage, SQL servers, SAP, Power BI.
Good working knowledge of the energy market and the convergence of Operational Technology and Information Technology.
