Senior Associate or Special Counsel – Workers’ Compensation
Join Hall & Wilcox as a Senior Associate or Special Counsel specialising in Workers’ Compensation. The position is based in our Darwin office.
About the Role and Team
The Insurance WA team is a defendant insurance legal team working across Statutory Insurance matters, including workers’ compensation, recoveries and compulsory third‑party matters. The team has approximately 90 people located across Darwin, Perth and Adelaide. This role offers hands‑on work, significant learning, development and progression opportunities and the chance to work closely with interesting clients and highly regarded partners and lawyers.
About You
At least 5 years of post‑admission experience within Workers’ Compensation.
Experience on the defendant side is preferred; candidates with a plaintiff background who are keen to move into a defendant practice will also be considered.
A genuine interest in contributing to the growth and success of our insurance practice in Darwin.
Clear, concise legal writing skills.
Strong attention to detail.
